Who we are
Covid-19 changed many lives forever. Those left behind carry a unique pain. Even as families grieve, Covid became a political fight. The aftermath still impacts families today.
The Covid-19 pandemic impacted the globe. Families who experienced loss during this time face a unique grief. These families require support as they navigate their bereavement.
I came across a few Covid Memorials last year and they touched me deeply. I felt a strong desire to create one myself. The need to honor those lost resonated within me. I knew I had to find a way to honor all those who lost their lives.
I lost my son Keith November 10th 2021.
Keith was young. Keith was active. Keith was healthy. Covid did not discriminate. He spent a month in the ICU fighting for his life and passed away 11 days before his 26th birthday.
Our loved ones deserve to be remembered.
Over 500 families have submitted names of their loved ones. Some shared pictures and stories. I engrave the yellow hearts and display them as well as the pictures.
Our first display was November 2024. So many families showed up. The importance of not letting our loves ones not be forgotten will always be something that pushes me forward.
